Jagorani Chakra Foundation has received the following awards for its successful programme implementation:

1. Special President Award of People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 1994 for Developing Valuable Co-curricular Subjects and Awareness based Materials for Adult Education.

2. Gold Medal of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2003 for the contribution in the Development of Fisheries Sector.

3. Best Practitioner’s Award in Microfinance from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2006.

4. Forbes Magazine rated Jagorani Chakra Foundation as 16th micro finance service providing organisation in the world and 2nd in Bangladesh in 2007.

5. The Yuvabadhana Foundation, Thailand awarded 24 children in 2008 who have come from poor community of Jessore for their performance in ‘A World United through Art’ Competition. A total of 500 schools from 34 countries participated in the competition.

6. In 2009 we JCF received a Gold Medal on Micro Finance from Mother Teresa Research Council.
